If we were to tell you that you can buy a new vehicle these days for roughly $16,000, your jaw just might drop. Ours sure did when we saw the recently announced pricing for the all-new 2023 Nissan Versa. The compact sedan receives some updates this year - including a new front end and available tech upgrades - and goes on sale this month starting from just $15,730.
Nissan is well aware of the Versa's price-point, saying the Versa "offers strong value at a time when costs and inflation are top of mind for drivers." The automaker says in its recent survey of vehicle owners and lessees, more than half of respondents – 53% – identified affordability as one of the most important attributes in a new vehicle, with fuel economy a close second (34%).
