The countdown is on for the new 2025 GMC Yukon, due out at the end of the year. GMC's flagship SUV gains some nice interior and tech upgrades, as well as its first-ever AT4 Ultimate trim. GMC says its introduction is timed to celebrate the fifth anniversary of GMC’s AT4 sub-brand.
The 2025 Yukon's refreshed exterior features new unique grille patterns, liftgate badging, animated headlamps and taillamps. There's also an available panoramic sunroof. Cabin upgrades include a new 16.8-inch-diagonal display infotainment screen.
A new available 8-inch-diagonal rear climate control touchscreen also helps ensure a comfortable cabin environment for passengers
Yukon offers a hands-free liftgate that automatically opens the liftgate in the presence of the key fob.

Powertrain
There are three engine options: a standard 5.3-liter V8 delivers 355 horsepower and 383 lb.-ft. of torque. An available 6.2L V8 engine delivers 420 horsepower and 460 lb.-ft. of torque, paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. Also available across the lineup, including on AT4 and AT4 Ultimate for the first time, a 3.0L Duramax Turbo-Diesel engine option with 305 horsepower and 495 lb.-ft. of torque.
Safety
A cool safety tech update is newly available Night Vision. Recently introduced to GMC's portfolio, its thermal object detection helps identify pedestrians and animals by alerting drivers via the head-up display and driver information center. The 2025 Yukon also features available Super Cruise — the industry’s first true hands-free advanced driver assistance system.
