The new all-electric 2023 Mercedes-Benz EQE sedan is due to arrive at CarPro dealerships this fall. It will do so with a starting price of $74,900 and up to an EPA-estimated 305 miles of range.
The EQE sedan is based on the brand's EQ electric platform and features a sporty design that keeps aerodynamics in mind. There are three variants, and three trims, to choose from here in the U.S: the EQE 350+ Sedan, EQE 350 4MATIC Sedan and EQE 500 4MATIC with a choice of Premium, Exclusive and Pinnacle trims. There are options to personalize as well.

Mercedes says the EQE's sleek design features modeled surfaces, reduced joints and seamless transitions. Overhands on the front end are short and the tail end gets a sharp rear spoiler. The black panel grille can be enhanced with a Mercedes-Benz Star pattern.
Mercedes says even the base Premium Trim features a generous level of standard equipment, including the MBUX infotainment system with 12.8" OLED multimedia touchscreen portrait display and 12.3" driver display.

Electric Intelligence, an EQ-specific navigation system, provides EV-specific driving info including charging station locations, energy demand and charging info, as well as temp, heating and cooling requirement, speed and traffic and payment functions. It also has something cool called Active Range Monitoring - that will tell the driver how the speed they need to go to get to their destination if they miss a charging station.
Range / Charging
The EQE is equipped with a standard with a 90.6 kWh battery. Mercedes says the EPA-estimated range for the EQE 350+ variant is 305 miles. Owners can find charging stations through Mercedes me Charge, a payment app. Customers also receive two years of 30-minute DC fast charging at Electrify America charging stations from account activation.
Safety
An expansive suite of enhanced active and passive Driver Assistance Systems includes standard Blind Spot Assist, Active Lane Keeping Assist, LED Headlamps with Highbeam Assist and the Parking Package with Surround View System and PARKTRONIC.
Features
The EQE comes with a standard Burmester Sound System including EQ Sound Experience, Sound Personalization and Dolby Atmos and over-the-air (OTA) technology. Other highlights include 64-Color Ambient Lighting and heated front seats as well as the KEYLESS-GO Comfort Package.

A tilt and sliding panorama roof consists of two modules that form a large glass surface, designed to make the cabin feel light and airy. The available Energizing Air Control Plus feature helps filter out particles, dust and pollution. Mercedes says it can even help reduce viruses and bacteria. Pre-entry climate control further allows drivers to purify the cabin air before entering the vehicle.
The 2023 EQE sedan is slated to arrive in CarPro dealerships by the end of the year.
