This is a fun list we like to share every year. It's the annual Uber Lost & Found Index – a snapshot of the most surprising and most frequently forgotten items left behind in Ubers over the past 12 months. The latter includes items you'd likely expect, things like clothing, luggage, headphones and wallets. But riders certainly left behind some surprising things as well. Some of the more unique items include a frontal hair toupee, a live pet turtle, a tray of meat pie, and a burrito steamer.
In Uber's eighth annual Index, Miami tops the list of most forgetful cities. But four Car Pro Show markets - Los Angeles, Houston, Dallas, and Austin - all made the top 10. Red was the most lost color, 9pm and 10pm are when most riders report lost items, and the most forgetful day? January 21st.
