Barrett-Jackson Is ON Now!  VIN #001 Escalade EV On Saturday Docket

Barrett-Jackon's Fall Scottsdale auction is underway! Things kicked off Thursday and run through Sunday.  Saturday,  the first retail production 2025 Cadillac ESCALADE IQ VIN 001 will be auctioned off for charity at approximately 5:30 PM MST.  Cadillac donated the vehicle and all sale proceeds will benefit the Detroit Children’s Fund, a nonprofit organization dedicated to ensuring Detroit children receive a quality education.

In addition to the VIN #001 Escalade IQ,  celebrity offering include a one-of-one 2015 Ferrari LaFerrari owned by Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Sammy Hagar, and a 2018 Bugatti Chiron owned by Super Middleweight champion of the world, boxer Saul “Canelo” Alvarez.

Ford offerings include a 2019 Ford GT finished in Liquid Red with Dark Energy interior and an unrestored survivor 1969 Mustang Boss 429  that is one of 857 built for the model year.

2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ VIN 001

Barett-Jackson says the auction of the Escalade IQ continues its 50-plus year legacy of philanthropy of auctioning off vehicles for charitable causes. 

“We’re honored that Cadillac is bringing the sale of their first retail production ESCALADE IQ to Barrett-Jackson,” said Craig Jackson, chairman and CEO of Barrett-Jackson. “This is a tremendous opportunity for someone to own an incredible piece of automotive history. We are proud that 100 percent of the proceeds from the sale of this vehicle will support children’s education throughout Detroit.”

Cadillac's first-ever all-electric FULL-SIZE SUV is powered by GM’s Ultium +200 kWh dual-motor all-wheel-drive battery propulsion system. The system delivers a Cadillac-estimated 750 horsepower and 785 lb.-ft. of torque   In Velocity Max driver mode, it clocks a 0-to-60 mph time of under 5 seconds, according to the automaker.  Range is a Cadillac-estimated 460 miles.  Escalade IQ features include standard Super Cruise hands-free driver assistance technology with three years of the OnStar Super Cruise plan.

We’re excited to work with Barrett-Jackson on the auction of ESCALADE IQ VIN 001, with every dollar of the proceeds going to the Detroit Children’s Fund.”

Inside, VIN 001 features a curved pillar-to-pillar 55-inch total diagonal display, a 36-speaker AKG Studio Reference audio system, Executive Second Row Seating Package, center console with stowable tray tables, dual wireless charging pads and Rear Command Center, as well as 14-way power heated, ventilated and massaging second-row seats.
