This week we take a look at mid-sized SUVs from the car companies that still report monthly. Based on these vehicles, this segment was up substantially over July of 2020, which was still being affected by Covid-19 shutdowns.
Surprisingly, three of the top four spots were taken by Toyota, Subaru, and Ford, the three worst hit car companies this year from the chip shortage.
Here are your sales leaders for July 2021 and how they did versus July of 2020, again, from automakers that report monthly. We’ll get a better picture at the end of September:
