Coming This Summer: 2025 Cadillac CT5-V And CT5-V Blackwing

Cadillac is introducing an updated duo: the 2025 CT5-V and CTV-5 Blackwing. The luxury sport sedans receive refreshed looks and new technology for the new model year,  following Cadillac's best sedan sales since 2018.

"Cadillac sedans continue to drive positive brand momentum, year-over-year," said John Roth, vice president, global Cadillac. "Last year, our sedans experienced their best sales since 2018 and CT5 is Cadillac's best-selling vehicle, globally. As V-Series celebrates a record year, the importance of this option for those customers who value performance and power cannot be overstated."

2025 CT5-V

Updated looks for the 2025 CT5-V include a new front-end performance design with a wider, lower appearance. Additional features include:

  • Redesigned grille and front fascia with black moldings, rocker extensions and spoiler
  • Redesigned Cadillac stacked signature vertical lighting with LED headlamps with Mondrian pattern etching
  • Walk up and walk away lighting choreography
  • Three new colors: Drift Metallic, Deep Space Metallic, Typhoon Metallic
  • Lit Cadillac Crest on the back of the 33-inch-diagonal LED display, which welcomes the driver upon approach
  • Quad trapezoid exhaust tips

2025 CT5-V Blackwing

The 2025 CT5-V Blackwing features a bolder, redesigned grille and front fascia with aero ground effects and front fenders.

Additional features include:

  • Redesigned performance front-end, delivering the ultra-high-performance CT5-V Blackwing is known for
  • Redesigned Cadillac stacked signature vertical lighting with LED headlamps with Mondrian pattern etching
  • Walk up and walk away lighting choreography
  • Three new colors: Drift Metallic, Deep Space Metallic, Typhoon Metallic
  • Lit Cadillac Crest on the back of the 33-inch-diagonal LED display, which welcomes the driver upon approach
  • Carbon Fiber Packages, including an updated Carbon Fiber Package with splitter
  • Quad trapezoid exhaust tips

Technology 

Both models feature a new 33-inch-diagonal LED color touchscreen display.  Additional tech features include:

  • An available enhanced in-vehicle Performance Data Recorder, created with input from racing-obsessed GM engineers and designers. The Performance Data Recorder is accessed directly from the display, featuring:
  • Lap Analyzer tool, which provides powerful data analysis functions that were previously only possible in laptop programs, such as custom reference laps, speed trace analysis and direct shortcut to video playback
  • Overhauled user interface and graphics, including new performance analysis features to help drivers maximize their on-track performance
  • Speed Tips tool, which automatically highlights the most significant lap time improvement opportunities, including a sector analysis and side-by-side video playback
  • An automatic summary before a track outing displays the vehicle’s configuration, tire pressures and track data for the driver’s current-standing personal best performance
  • Live data screen in the center stack, which shows lap time details while on-track, including lap delta and gauges designed to assist a driver’s coach seated in the passenger seat, such as friction circle, accel position, brake position
  • Intuitive database of tracks and detailed lap data from past track outings
  • Head-up display, which shows critical lap time details and bold lap delta graphics, providing immediate performance feedback in the driver’s line of sight
  • Access to AliveDrive mobile application for continued performance analysis away from vehicle.
  • New Performance in-vehicle app, featuring:
    • Real-time display of power, torque and boost
    • Live dyno graph-style trace of power and torque with interactive analysis
    • Array of performance gauges like g-force, tire temperature, and engine vitals, with full configurability enabling drivers to prioritize their favorite data
  • Super Cruise driver assistance technology with new Driver Attention Assist (Super Cruise package standard on CT5-V and standard on CT5-V Blackwing with automatic transmission for three years)
  • Google built-in, including Google Assistant, Google Maps, and Google Play
  • Refined HVAC controls feature animations for an elevated, interactive experience

Performance 

The lineup continues to offer two powertrains. Here's a look at what each model offers in the performance department.e

  • 3.0TT 360 horsepower, 405 lb-ft torque with 10-speed automatic transmission (CT5-V)e
  • 6.2L Supercharged V-8 668 horsepower, 659 lb-ft torque with 6-speed manual or 10-speed auto (CT5-V Blackwing)
  • Available All-Wheel Drive (CT5-V)
  • Standard Brembo front and rear brakes with V-Series graphic (CT5-V Blackwing)
  • Standard Performance Traction Management (CT5-V and CT5-V Blackwing)
  • Standard Launch Control (CT5-V)
  • Standard Custom Launch Control with Line Lock (CT5-V Blackwing)
  • Standard Magnetic Ride Control / Electronic Limited Slip (CT5-V and CT5-V Blackwing)
  • Driver Mode Selector
