As you know, not all automakers report sales on a monthly basis anymore. We will get a complete picture of the first quarter of 2023 after the close of March business.
Industry analysts who estimated sales of all manufacturers rose 9.5% last month, as compared to February 2022. Total sales were estimated to be 928,000 in February 2023.
Kia America reports record-breaking February sales with five models reaching their best-ever February totals.
Of the car companies that report sales monthly, all except Honda and Toyota saw increases from February 2022. As I continue to tell you on the CarPro Radio Show, Honda and Toyota continue to struggle with supply chain shortages.
Subaru reports its best-ever February for the Crosstrek and WRX, with the Crosstrek the brand's top performer by volume.
