The Toyota Sequoia is getting a Texas-inspired edition! I'm referring to the first-ever Sequoia 1794 Edition that arrives for the 2025 model year. The special grade, already offered on the Tundra, is a tribute to a former ranch that was established near San Antonio in 1794. The land where the ranch once stood is where the Toyota Sequoia along with the Tundra are assembled today.
The new Sequoia 1794 Edition was on display at the recent Texas Truck Rodeo held by the Texas Auto Writers Association. Its luxurious looks and upscale interior impress. The 1794 Sequoia really looks striking in Wind Chill Pearl with a chrome-finished grill. 20-inch machine-finish alloy wheels are standard, but this vehicle also sports TRD Off-Road badging, giving it black 20-inch TRD Off-Road satin black alloy wheels.
The cabin features Saddle tan leather-trimmed seats, real American walnut wood grain trim, heated and ventilated massaging front seats and of course 1794 badging. Second-row captain’s chairs are standard, as is a panoramic roof and a tow tech package. A 14-speaker JBL sound system is standard, too, along with a 14-inch multi-media screen.
The 1794 is equipped with 4WD and Toyota's i-FORCE MAX twin-turbo V6 hybrid that delivers 437 horsepower and 583 lb.-ft. of torque. It's available with a TRD off-road package, and a Tow Technology package that adds Toyota's new Wireless Trailer Camera System.
Other options include a Head Up Display, power running boards, power tow mirrors, rear air suspension, and a TRD front skid plate. Interior options include a dash cam and a center console safe..
The 2025 Sequoia is equipped with Toyota Safety Sense 2.5. Other driver assistance features include Blind Spot monitor and Rear Cross Traffic Alert.
The 2025 Toyota Sequoia 1794 Edition slots under the top-of-the-line limited trim. It's on sale now with a base MSRP starting from $80,135.
