GMC Celebrates 25 Years Of The Denali

Written by CarPro | Jan 7, 2025 5:38:07 PM

GMC is celebrating not one but two milestones - 25 years of Denali and the 2 millionth Denali sold in 2024. The popular premium trim - named for the tallest peak in North America -  was first introduced on the Yukon and is now available across the GMC range - even on the new Sierra EV. GMC added an even more luxurious Denali Ultimate trim in 2022, available on Sierra and Yukon models. Car Pro Show host Jerry Reynolds has reviewed a number of GMC Denali's, you can check out his reviews here.

The automaker says in 2024, Denali accounted for over 30% of GMC's retail sales. Last year, GMC also sold the 2 millionth Denali vehicle, an Onyx Black 2024 Sierra 2500 Crew Cab Denali.

Take a look back at 25 years of the Denali:

The automaker says the success of both Denali and GMC extends well beyond the U.S. and Canada, reaching global markets like Korea, Mexico, and the Middle East. GMC will expand its global offerings this year as well with the launch of the Yukon Denali in China, Australia, and New Zealand in 2025.
