- Hope Local’s Pitch: Families give us the best chance at being loved, having support, and achieving success. Unfortunately, many kids in our community don’t have that opportunity. That's why we're working to stabilize vulnerable families at risk of disruption, recruiting great foster families for seasons of transition, and recruiting adoptive families to open their hearts and homes when needed.

- They find and develop support for foster/adoptive families.
- They directly advocate for kids waiting for adoption.

- When kids who are in the foster system cannot find their “forever” family, they oftentimes continue to view their life through the lens of rejection making it difficult for them to be emotionally healthy. To make matters worse, if we let time go by, those same kids will age out of that system leaving them to face the world without the basic skills we take for granted.
Over past 7 years, Hope Local has:
- Helped more than 50 kids get adopted into their forever family. (with small team and low yearly budget)
- Recruited 187 families to get licensed for foster care or adoption.
- Helped local faith-based orgs identify and meet more than 1,000 immediate needs for vulnerable kids and families for an economic impact of more than $760,000.
- Recruited and activated more than 400 volunteers to serve vulnerable kids and families.
