Cadillac is unveiling the first-ever all-electric 2025 ESCALADE IQ. It's not just GM's first all-electric full-size SUV. Cadillac says it's also GM's most aerodynamic full-size SUV ever. And WOW are the specs incredible!
The 2025 Cadillac Escalade will be available in two trims. Luxury and Sport, and each is available in a two-tone exterior by selecting the available black-painted roof. GM's fantastic Super Cruise hands-free driving tech is also available.
Pricing starts from around $130,000. With a price tag like that, you can expect not just luxury but incredible performance, which you get and then some.
“ESCALADE IQ raises the standard just as the original Escalade redefined luxury a quarter-century ago,” said John Roth, vice president, Global Cadillac. “This reimagining of an icon marks the next step in Cadillac’s all-electric future.”
In what Cadillac dubs Velocity Max mode, the Escalade IQ's all-electric powertrain delivers up to 750 horsepower and up to 758 pound-feet of torque! It's 0 to 60 mph time, less than 5 seconds. '
Then there's the impressive range - a Cadillac-estimated 450 miles. It's capable of 800-volt DC fast charging which nets up to 100 miles of range in 10 minutes of charge time.
And towing capability? Up to 8,000 pounds.
When it comes to performance, ESCALADE IQ features independent front and rear suspension, with power transferred to 24-inch wheels with 35-inch tires via front and rear drive motors that work in conjunction as an eAWD system.
The Escalade IQ also offers One-Pedal Driving and Variable Regen on Demand.
