It's going to be an exciting spring for Land Cruiser fans! That's because the all-new 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser arrives soon after a two-year hiatus from the U.S. market. The all-new off-roader brings with it rugged new looks that also incorporate heritage-inspired design elements. It's also more affordable this time around with a starting price point of $55,950 (excluding dealer processing and handling fee.)
We had our first glimpse in person at the recent 2024 North Texas Auto Expo. The model in the pics below wears the Trail Dust / Grayscape premium color combo avilable on select trims:
There's only one engine option - Toyota's new i-FORCE MAX hybrid powertrain that delivers 326-horsepower and 465 pound-feet of torque. Full-time four-wheel drive and center- and rear-locking differentials are standard, too. It's also equipped with Toyota's latest off-road features -- like an updated CRAWL Control function - that balance performance and efficiency. Available features include Toyota's Multi-Terrain Monitor. The new Land Cruiser can tow up to 6,000 pounds.
“The complete redesign of the all-new Land Cruiser amounts to an incredible evolution of the vehicle. We know this new iteration had big shoes to fill, and I am absolutely thrilled to report it has exceeded our high expectations.” said Mike Tripp, vice president of Toyota Marketing. “This vehicle retains its legendary capability, and now it offers a significantly lower starting price, tons of creature comforts and even more maneuverability on the trails. We are excited for the world to experience the next edition of Land Cruiser.”
Toyota will build the new Land Cruise in Japan.
