Kia America is kicking off the new year with a few announcements regarding the all-new K4 sedan, which is one of three finalists for the 2025 North American Car of the Year (NACTOY).
New K4 TikTok Creator Car Configurator
First, it's launching the first-ever "Kia TikTok Creator Car Configurator" designed exclusively for TikTok. Featuring the all-new 2025 K4 compact sedan, Kia says it's an entirely different way to configure a vehicle, with engaging video transitions that allow the user to build the K4 with the specifications they want and need.
Kia brought the first-of-its-kind configurator to life with the help of eight popular TikTok creators who helped produce a series of videos demonstrating the most popular Kia K4 trim levels and options.
"In an ever-changing world, the 'Kia TikTok Creator Car Configurator' is a new way to connect with consumers on one of the most popular online platforms," said Russell Wager, vice president, marketing, Kia America. "This configurator allows the user to choose the colors and options they want and build a specific K4 that best suits their needs in a way never available until now. The all-new Kia K4 is a dynamic vehicle and therefore needed an equally dynamic way to deliver an experience unlike any other."

K4 Receives IIHS Safety Award
The all-new K4 is also a 2024 Insurance Institute of Highway Safety TOP SAFETY PICK (TSP) (applies to vehicles built before November 2024.)
To qualify for the 2024 IIHS TSP Award, vehicles need “good” ratings in the small overlap front, original moderate overlap front, and updated side tests, an “acceptable” or “good” rating in the pedestrian front crash prevention evaluation, and “acceptable-” or “good-” rated headlights across all trim levels. The K4 earned top-level “good” ratings in the small overlap front, original moderate overlap front, updated side, and pedestrian front crash prevention tests, and received an “acceptable” rating for headlights.
“IIHS’s work to enhance vehicle occupant protection is incredibly important and Kia is supportive of the agency’s rigorously high standards,” said Steve Center, COO and EVP, Kia America. “At Kia, we strive for continuous advancement in this area, and the all-new K4 compact sedan is just the latest example of this ongoing effort. Earning a 2024 IIHS TOP SAFETY PICK Award for this outstanding vehicle is yet another reason why we believe the K4 will appeal to anyone shopping for a compact sedan.”
