Meet My New Radio Show Partner Today!

As I have told you several times, there can never be another Trusty Sidekick, that title belongs to Kevin McCarthy and always will.  However, I do need help with the radio show.  Five straight hours of talk radio is a long time especially when you are hyper-focused on making sure you give the very best possible answer.  Most of big time radio talk hosts only do three hours, and there is good reason for that.

Today on both shows, I will introduce you to Todd Chambless, whom you’ll hear with me every Saturday.  Like Kevin, Todd knows nothing about cars.  I’ve got that covered.  It is nice to have someone to bounce things off of and remind me of things I might have forgotten.

Although we’ll spend lots of time together on Saturdays, we’ve worked together weekly for close to 20 years.  You see, Todd is also the Car Pro Show Production Director.  He makes sure the commercials you hear on the show sound good and that they are the exact time down to the second that they are supposed to be.  We meet up every Thursday morning at WBAP, share a cup of Joe, and do 50 or so commercials and recordings together.

Todd has been an on-air personality, voice-over artist, producer, and radio programmer for 40 years now.  He is married to his wife Becca, whom I helped with car decisions long before they entered into marital bliss.  Through the years, Todd has also purchased or leased a lot of cars from Certified Dealers on the show.  When it comes to cars, unlike Kevin, he actually listens to me!

Todd expressed that he was looking forward to the opportunity to be a part of the Car Pro Show and helping me to help you!  Todd enjoys sunshine and convertible cars as long as they have an exceptional sound system.

I know the Car Pro Show audience will welcome Todd starting tomorrow and make him feel at home.  None of us like change but it is inevitable in life.  Will Todd be trusty, and will he be a great radio sidekick?  Absolutely.
