Chevrolet's announced the winner of its first-ever "Lead Dream Chaser" contest. The winner is a Michigan Great Lakes environmentalist who will receive $100,000 and three months with the all-new 2024 Trax to help pursue her dream.
Winner Meag Schwartz is a Michigan activist and environmental educator. Her passion project: protecting and cleaning up the Great Lakes. She was chosen from a panel of judges from hundreds of video submissions.
Schwartz is known as the “The Great Lakes Litter Lady” and Chevy calls her a dedicated advocate for freshwater who dreams of growing her marine debris removal passion project, “Great Lakes Great Responsibility”. She'll receive $100,000 and three months with the all-new 2024 Chevy Trax to go about making her dream a reality. You'll also be able to follow her journey on social media, as she highlights the natural beauty of the Great Lakes and its shorelines.

Chevy accepted entries over a 30-day submission period that opened on the afternoon of January 13th.

The finalists for the Chevy Dream Chaser role were reviewed and scored by a panel of judges from Chevrolet, with creative entrepreneur and CEO of Kickstarter, Everette Taylor, serving as a guest judge. The judges scored each finalist according to five areas of the weighted criteria. The contestant with the highest total combined score from each judge was declared the winner.
