Lucid Motors is sharing a Gravity SUV update, as well as announcing the first retail deliveries of the Lucid Air with Stealth Appearance package. (You don't want to miss Jerry's new review of the Lucid Air Touring published this week!)
The Lucid Air recently won the 2023 World Luxury Car Award. The new Stealth Appearance package gives the all-electric sedan a dark exterior design theme. It's an option for the Air Grand Touring and Air Touring models. Deliveries began at the Lucid Costa Mesa service center in Southern California and will continue throughout the country in the coming weeks.
"The highly-anticipated Stealth Appearance will delight those who prefer a darker, more enigmatic look to Lucid Air," said Derek Jenkins, SVP of Design and Brand, Lucid Group. "Side by side, Stealth and Platinum are like seeing two altogether different vehicles, two facets of the Air personality."
Lucid says the Stealth appearance package changes of up to 35 components on the exterior of the vehicle giving many components a dark Stealth polished finish, which includes darkened Stealth components that frame the Air's distinctive Glass Canopy roof. The Stealth Appearance also adds black gloss and satin graphite accents to further enhance the sharpened appearance, including elements of the lower body trim and the trim around the Intelligent Micro Lens Array headlights and one-piece blade taillights.
Unique wheel designs and finishes vary depending on the model variant:
You can pair the Stealth Appearance with Stellar White, Infinite Black, Cosmos Silver, Quantum Grey, and Zenith Red.
Stealth Appearance is priced at $3,000 for Air Touring with a metal roof, or $6,000 for all models equipped with a Glass Canopy roof. Build yours using Lucid's Design Yours Configurator.
Lucid is also sharing the latest update for its upcoming all-electric Gravity SUV. The automaker says it's entered a new phase of development and is now being tested on public roads throughout the U.S.
Lucid describes the Gravity SUV as having a "previously unheard-of combination of spaciousness, performance, and driving range." It will seat up to seven passengers, have the driving dynamics of a sports car, and a "greater electric range than any SUV on the market today." The Lucid Gravity will also introduce new Glass Cockpit high-resolution displays, powered by the next generation of Lucid UX, Lucid's software interface.
