Car sales are a bit of a mixed bag this year. For the year, through October, sales are up and substantially. However, for October 2021 versus October 2020, all but five of the top 20 passenger car sales are down. This is another byproduct of the microchip shortage we weren’t dealing with a year ago.
Year-to-date, Camry has a 40,000-unit lead over #2 Honda Civic, and a 100,000-unit lead over #4 Honda Accord. There is no doubt Camry will once again be the #1 selling car in America.
