“The Ram brand has redefined the pickup truck segment before and will once again with the all-new Ram 1500 REV,” said Mike Koval Jr., Ram brand CEO – Stellantis. “We believe in bringing the right range of powertrain solutions to our customers, and the Ram 1500 REV will be the first in a lineup of electrified solutions that will add to our current award-winning truck lineup. We are on an exciting electrification journey that will see Ram push past the competition in areas customers care about the most: range, payload, towing and charge time.”

Ram is not sharing official power, range and charging specs yet. Though Car and Driver confirms that Ram will offer a range extender gas engine.

The Ram 1500 REV is based on the Ram Revolution Concept, but overall it's less futuristic looking. Features include a bold grille and signature lighting. Ram's website also says it will offer a new innovative frunk and "game changing cargo space with secure, weatherproof protection."
On the tech side, Ram's website says it will offer Level 3+ autonomous control, automated parking and self-leveling capability, along with finger-touch and swipe technology on the steering wheel, and an electrochromatic roof. We can also expect 28 inches of touchscreen space on the dash. Upon approach to the vehicle, a personalized welcome experience will automatically recognize and greet occupants and will open the doors and project lighting on the ground.
