Refreshed 2024 Nissan Sentra Starts At Just $20,635

These days it's rare to find a new vehicle that starts in the $20,000 ballpark. On the short list: the refreshed 2024 Nissan Sentra. The compact sedan is on sale now starting from $20,630.

2024 Sentra updates include fresh styling, better fuel economy and additional premium features. Nissan makes choosing between trims easy with just three to choose from: S, SV and the top-of-the-line SR.

Exterior Tweaks

Design changes to the exterior include a reshaped front fascia that includes a new interpretation of Nissan's V-motion grille and updated headlights. Nissan also add a new available 16-inch alloy wheel design. The sporty SR grade gains red SR badges, new 18-inch alloy wheels and dark chrome trim for the grille.

Better Fuel Economy

For 2024 the Sentra also improves its fuel economy thanks to a new continuously variable transmission and integrated idle Stop Start. It's mated to a 2.0-liter inline four engine.  New EPA-rated fuel economy numbers for the S and SV are 30 mpg City, 40 mpg Highway and 34 mpg Combined. For the Sporty SR the numbers go down slightly 30 mpg City, 38 mpg Highway and 33 mpg Combined.

Additional Premium Features

The Sentra's SV Premium Package adds more goodies for 2024: an eight-speaker Bose Premium Audio system, Intelligent Around View Monitor and exterior mirror turn signal indicators are now standard.

Standard Safety

Nissan Safety Shield 360 is standard across the lineup. The suite of active safety technologies comprises Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Blind Spot Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Lane Departure Warning, High Beam Assist and Rear Automatic Braking.
