The 2024 Acura Integra Type S, the most powerful Integra ever, is now available for limited reservations. The first production units became available for pre-order on Thursday, May 11th on Acura's website. Prospective buyers will have the opportunity to reserve one of the first 200 production units before the premium sport compacts officially begins arriving at dealerships in June, starting from $51,995, including destination. Acura's website says you can reserve the Integra Type S in Apex Blue Pearl, Tiger Eye Pearl, Liquid Carbon Metallic or Majestic Black Pearl. Only 50 of each color of the Integra Type S are available.
The Acura Integra is the fourth Acura Type S performance model to launch in the past two years. The sedan comes well-equipped with features and tech that includes heated front sport seats, a 10.2-inch Acura Precision Cockpit digital display, head-up display, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless phone charging and a 16-speaker ELS Studio 3D premium auto system.
The Integra Type S is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter VTEC engine that delivers 320 horsepower and 310 lb.-ft. of torque – which is an increase of 120 hp and 118 lb.-ft. over the all-new Integra that launched roughly one year ago. The engine is mated to a standard 6-speed manual transmission and the model is equipped with a limited slip differential and an innovative dual-axis front suspension design that Acura says improves road holding and greatly reduces torque steer.
Additionally, Acura says a performance-tuned Adaptive Damper System provides precise control of ride and handling with optimized damping curves to suit driving conditions. It's also equipped with powerful Brembo front brakes and rides on lightweight 19-inch wheels wrapped in sticky 265/30 R19 Michelin Pilot Sport 4S high-performance summer tires. Fuel economy is 24 MPG combined.
Design wise, the 5-door liftback Integra Type S features a bold, wide body design with aggressive sporty elements that include center-mounted triple exhaust outlets and a rear diffuser in the rear and up front, large air intakes.'
