Nissan is introducing the all-new 2025 Murano. It certainly was long-time coming with its last redesign for the 2015 model year. But alas, patience pays off as it looks like it was well worth the wait. Much sleeker and modern looking than the outgoing generation, the new Murano's dives into much more upscale territory. Nissan Brand Ambassador Brie Larson unveiled the new Murano in Nashville, Tennessee last week:
Nissan's packed the new, fourth-generation Murano with a long list of new standard and available goodies. Many of those are Murano-firsts, including:
- Available ventilated, massaging front seats
- Standard Dual 12.3-inch displays
- Available Google built-in, including Google Maps
- Wireless Apple CarPlay® and wireless Android Auto™
- 21-inch wheels (Platinum grade)
- Standard Available 64-color interior ambient lighting
- Available Color head-up display
- Available ProPILOT Assist and ProPILOT Assist 1.1
- New 9-speed automatic transmission
There are also two new-to-Murano camera technologies available: Invisible Hood View which allows for a virtual view through the engine bay for precise navigation, and 3D Around View® Monitor, which provides eight virtual vantage points "around" the vehicle when parking or maneuvering.

Inside, you find a minimalist interior with soft-touch materials, dual, high-definition 12.3-inch displays and capacitive-touch climate controls. Three interior color themes are inspired by the "golden hour" – the time just before sunset experienced along the Californian coast. The top-of-the-line Platinum grade features semi-aniline quilted leather-appointed seats. Other available premium features include 64-color ambient lighting, massaging front seats, Google built-in and a Bose® 10-speaker audio system.
The lineup features Nissan's standard 2.0-liter VC-Turbo powertrain which delivers 241 horsepower and 260 lb.-ft. of torque, up 20 lb.-ft. compared to the outgoing Murano. Nissan also ditches a CVT for a new 9-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters.

Nissan Safety Shield 360 is standard across the lineup. Additionally, available ProPILOT Assist and ProPILOT Assist 1.1 semi-autonomous driving systems are designed for highway driving.
