Written By: CarPro | May 31, 2023 4:00:00 PM

If you've ever wondered what the most and least driven electric vehicles on the roads are today, our favorite researchers at iSeeCars have the answer for you. As you might guess, a Tesla is the EV you're most likely to see on the road, and specifically the Model X. On the other hand, the Porsche Taycan is the EV you'll see the least.

Most and Least Driven EVs

The new iSeeCars study ranks the top 12 most driven electric vehicles. Tesla models sweep the top four spots, with the three-row Model X taking the number one spot as the most-driven electric car, averaging 10,378 miles a year.   The Hyundai Kona Electric, pictured above, ranks 5th.

Researchers also share some other fun facts:

  • The average 3-year old electric car is driven 9,059 miles a year, compared to 12,758 miles for 3-year old gas-powered vehicles
  • Electric cars cost 47 percent more than internal combustion cars, but are driven 29 percent less
