Here's a fun way to get a custom license plate if you live in Texas. Bid on one! The My Plates Great Plate Auction of 2024 is currently underway. Texans have the chance to bid on 50 select, highly sought-after license plate messages.
Texas license plate messages include rare letter combinations, pure numbers, Texas themes, College, Sports and other one-of-a-kind plate messages. Here's a look at some of the plates up for grabs:

Bidding started on October 18th and ends November 20th at 8pm, 2024. All plates come with an initial 5-year term, owner first rights to renew, and are fully transferable (which means the lot winner can gift the plate message to a friend or family member or sell it later to someone for a profit).
My Plates is the authorized specialty plate vendor for the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles. The auction supports the General Revenue Fund of Texas, which provides services for all Texans.
