Now that we have 2024 firmly in our rearview mirror, it's time for a look at the best-selling used cars in 2024. iSeeCars compiled a list of the Top 100 most popular used models last year - with pickups topping the list. SUVs were the most popular vehicle type overall, taking up 65 spots of the top 100, 14 of those in the top 25. When it comes to used electric vehicles, two Tesla's showed a big jump in popularity in 2024, the Model Y and Model 3.

Other popular used models in the top 10 rankings include the Toyota Camry, Toyota Tacoma, and Nissan Rogue. The Ford Explorer, Toyota RAV4, and Honda Civic round out the top 10 most popular used models. iSeeCars says it’s worth noting that last year Chevy’s Equinox midsize SUV displaced the Ram 1500 as the third most-popular used car, but the Ram regained third place in 2024.
iSeeCars says it analyzed over 7.7 million 1- to 5-year-old used car sales in 2024 and calculated each model’s sales nationally and for the largest U.S. metro areas.
