The 13 Most-Loved Vehicles In America

If you love your Toyota Highlander Hybrid - you're not alone. It's the No.1 most-loved vehicle in America, according to a new iSeeCars study. It lists the top 13 models so beloved by their owners that they keep them them 15 years or more. That's nearly twice as long as the typical eight years owners keep their vehicles.

Toyota, known for its reliability and strong resale value, dominates the list of vehicles owners keep the longest, with seven models in the top 13. Lexus, Toyota’s luxury division, also makes an appearance, giving the automaker a total of eight top-ranked cars. iSeeCars points to Toyota’s long tradition of producing hybrids as likely contributing to the automaker’s dominance, with four of the top 13 cars featuring a hybrid drivetrain.  Car Pro Show host Jerry Reynolds has long recommended Toyota's well-proven hybrid powertrains.

About the Study

iSeeCars says it analyzed over 929,000 cars from model years 1981-2009 sold from January-September 2024 to determine which older cars are most likely to be kept by their original owners.
