Thank you Stellantis for making me look smart! I said on the CarPro Show a few months ago that I felt like the Charger would come as an electric vehicle as well as a gasoline engine, considering the downward trend of electric vehicles.

It's official! The next-generation Dodge Charger will be both electric and gas-powered! Dodge recently unveiled the much-anticipated model and you can check it out below:
Dodge Charger EV
There are two EV models. The top range 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona Scat Pack delivers up to 670-horses with an expected 0-60 time of 3.3 seconds. Dodge says this means it keeps its title as the world's quickest and most powerful muscle car. The second EV variant is the 496-horsepower 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona R/T. Both are the brand's first all-electric models.
Dodge Charger SIXPACK
The gas versions - which will follow the electric model rollout - swap a HEMI V8 for a 3.0L Twin Turbo I-6 Hurricane engine. Customers can choose either a 550-horsepower Dodge Charger SIXPACK H.O. or a 420-horsepower Charger SIXPACK S.O.

- Biggest tire package to date on a Dodge Charger features 20-inch wheels and staggered Goodyear Eagle F1 SuperCar 3 305 front/325 rear tires
- New Race Options include Donut Mode, Drift Mode and two unique Race Prep options

Availability
The two-door coupe EV 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona Scat Pack and 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona R/T variants will begin production in mid-2024. Production of four-door EV models along with the gas-powered variants will commence in the first quarter of 2025. All models will be built at the automaker's Windsor (Ontario) Asembly Plant.
