As I have been telling you, the momentum behind SUVs is on fire, especially with inventories improving all the time. Today, we look at the midsized SUV segment- one of the most popular segments these days.
Halfway through 2023, with all automakers reporting sales, this segment was up 1,457,000 sales. That’s an amazing number for one segment. At this rate, this group of SUVs combined will hit right at 3,000,000 sales, out of a probable 16,000,000 total sales of all vehicles.
The surprise for me was which midsized SUV was in the #1 position. It is a good bet that #2 will end 2023 in the #1 spot.
