**FORD** CRASH RISK!

Summary

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2014 F-150 vehicles. A loss of signal between the transmission output shaft speed sensor and the powertrain control module can cause the transmission to unexpectedly downshift into first gear, regardless of vehicle speed.

Remedy

Dealers will update the powertrain control module software, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed July 1, 2024. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 24S37.

**MERCEDES-BENZ (2)** FIRE RISK!

Summary

Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC (MBUSA) is recalling certain 2021-2022 AMG GT43, 2019-2022 AMG E53, E53 Coupe, E53 Cabriolet, AMG GT53, and 2019-2021 AMG CLS53 vehicles. The transmission wiring harness connection might not have been correctly remedied during a prior recall repair, which can expose the electrical connector to corrosion, and result in an electrical short-circuit.

Remedy

Dealers will replace the two-part wiring harness and connector, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed August 13, 2024. Owners may contact MBUSA customer service at 1-877-496-3691. This recall supersedes recall 22V-533. Vehicles repaired under the prior recall will still need to have the new remedy performed.

Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing (Toyota) is recalling certain 2023 Toyota Crown vehicles equipped with rearview and/or frontview cameras. Due to insufficient laser welding, the camera cases may separate, allowing water to leak into the cameras and short circuit. The rearview and front view camera images may not appear on the displays or display a distorted image.

Remedy

Summary

Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing (Toyota) is recalling certain 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander, Grand Highlander Hybrid, Lexus TX350, TX500 Hybrid, and TX550 Hybrid+ vehicles. The driver's side curtain air bag may not unroll as intended and could partially deploy outside of an open window. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 226, "Ejection Mitigation."

Remedy

The remedy is under development. Interim letters notifying owners of the safety risk are expected to be mailed between August 5, 2024 and August 19, 2024. A second notice will be sent once the remedy is available. Owners may contact Toyota customer service at 1-800-331-4331. Remedy
