On Wednesday, May 29th, the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration issued a consumer alert involving certain older model year Nissan and INFINITI vehicles in regards to the ongoing Takata air bag recall.

A Do Not Drive warning impacts 83,920 model year 2002-2006 vehicles equipped with recalled, unrepaired Takata air bags. NHTSA says if you have one of these vehicles, do not drive it until the repair is completed and the defective air bag is replaced.
