The Corolla Cross is a great addition to the Toyota SUV lineup, offering a slightly smaller, 2-row alternative to the RAV4.  It's easy to drive around town in and brings peace of mind with the latest Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 driver assistance system.

The Corolla Cross comes as both a gas-only and hybrid model, which is new for 2023. After reviewing both versions, we recommend the hybrid over the gas-only. The hybrid engine is more powerful, accelerates better, and has great fuel economy.

Notable equipment changes for 2023 include:

H-Tex seating surfaces replace cloth for SEL + Convenience Package, SRT, and HEV SEL Convenience

10.25” color touchscreen with onboard Navigation & Traffic flow including incident data via HD Radio is now standard on ICE: XRT, N Line, and Limited; HEV/PHEV:SEL Convenience and Limited models.

Dynamic Voice Recognition is now standard on ICE: XRT, N Line, and Limited | HEV/PHEV: Standard on SEL Convenience and Limited

Smart Cruise Control with Stop/Go, Intelligent Speed Limit Assist, Forward Collision Assist with Pedestrian, Cyclist, and Junction Turning Detection (sensor fusion-type) are now standard on all models.

Wireless charging is now standard on ICE:  SEL, SEL + Convenience Package, XRT, N Line, Limited; HEV/PHEV: Standard on all.

The only upgrade in 2023 for the Corolla Cross was the hybrid engine option in trim levels S, SE, and XSE.
