Our TakeMazda is known for its engaging driving dynamics, sophisticated style, and high-end interiors. The Mazda CX-5 delivers on all those fronts. The CX-5 lineup, however, is not the most updated in terms of tech; missing features such as wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, that are offered by many segment competitors.
The Rogue is consistently among the top best-selling and top-rated small SUVs in its segment. As such, you know it's a solid choice in terms of getting from point A to point B comfortably. Its fuel efficient VC Turbo engine is also a highlight. While all-wheel-drive is available, the Rogue is better suited for the pavement than off-road adventures. It's also probably not the SUV for you if you're looking for sporty driving dynamics.
The Rogue's technology features are a little disappointing. The multimedia touchscreen and the digital driver's display are small on all but the top trim level.
What's NewFor 2023, the CX-5 is available in eight different packages. All 2023 CX-5 models will retain standard i-Activ all-wheel drive in the U.S.
The Rhodium White exterior premium paint color is new for 2023.
For 2023 the Rogue lineup adds a new Midnight Edition package available on the Rogue SV.
The Rogue Platinum and SL Premium package add Amazon Alexa.
New for 2023, Rogue's engine has standard Idle Stop Start.
Nissan says a new generation Xtronic transmission delivers improved acceleration feel and reduced fuel consumption.
