I was planning to buy a 2021 Ford F-150 hybrid pickup. Unfortunately, there is very little inventory anywhere on this vehicle. However, on a very busy day Mark let me take home the ONE vehicle they had to measure in my garage and then proceeded to research where I could get my truck. He finally referred me to another dealership where they already had a truck like I wanted on order with the factory. This way I wouldn't have had to wait the full ordering time. Mark worked with the new dealer to make sure I would get the same CarPro deal that they would have given me, even though they are not a CarPro dealer. It was evident they want to take care of their CarPro customer first, independent of where the vehicle comes from!

After looking at 2 other carpro dealers online who were both outstanding, I found a truck I thought would work. I sent for my carpro pass on Friday night knowing that Covert was closed on Saturday, I was not expecting a reply until Sunday. Saturday about 9am, Mark from Covert Ford called and asked what I was looking for. I gave him the stocks numbers and made an appointment to see him at 10am Sunday. I looked at two or three trucks to make sure I got the right truck as I am 77 and this may be my last truck. I ended up with a new 2019 f150 with more bells and whistles than my last helicopter. I'm not sure what would rate a 5 star. I haven't bought from a large dealer in 20 years so wasn't sure what to expect. The car I was interested in had been listed before being cleaned up. George had it ready for us to test drive anyway and was up front about what still needed to be done. We went in on a Friday. Arranged for the purchase of the vehicle (a 2001 Camry with only 80k miles verified) and by the following Tuesday he had it delivered to our house 50 miles away.

The sales person was nice, no problem there. The place itself could use an upgrade. I felt like I was at a 3rd world car dealership while walking around a parking lot that needed some attention in a bad way. The non truck vehicles did not look good. To me it looked like they forgot to finish them and used very cheap leather while asking premium pricing. The trucks looked awesome. If I was in the market for a truck Ford would be at the top of my list. If the trucks weren't there I would have thought the company was for sale and they were trying to make the bottom line look good. I have had awesome Ford SUVs in the past but I left there thinking "what happened." It looks to me like Ford has decided to put all there money into their trucks.

Everyone was very helpful. A lot of issues arose (just due to unfortunate circumstances), yet they took very good care of my wife and me. Jake really pulled through, especially when we were able to pull cash together and forego financing. He came up with a nearly perfect truck that had a few major issues, but the Covert team bent over backwards for us. They even included new tires! They also have an AMAZING guy who fixed the bumper that, quite literally, looked unfixable. Overall a great experience despite some hiccups along the way.

I didn't present the VIP pass yet because I bought our last two vehicles from Covert Ford Hutto from John. He called me and we talked about what I want and when I expect to be able to do the trade-ins and purchase. I am on hold because of the probate court issues. I was able to get an appointment for a trade-in value assessment for my late wife's Explorer and will wait until I have all the court papers to do the trade-in value assessment on my F-250 and for Ford to get the 2021 F-150s out to the dealers. John has been extremely accommodating with my needs and wishes and understands exactly where I am coming from with them. I could not ask for a more caring, professional salesman from whom to buy a new vehicle. I don't know what Covert pays John, but it should be more.

Mark called me the same day I submitted my CarPro request. The truck I was looking for was very specific and I know the used car market is awful, but I know he did all he could to find exactly what I wanted. Ultimately, I found another truck elsewhere (different specs.) and when I told him that, he was very understanding and even offered to help guide me through the buying process with the other dealership if I had any questions. Would definitely recommend, at no point did I feel like he was trying to sell me on something quick to make a buck. Thanks again.

Dealing with Mark was great. He called me back on Thursday within 15 minutes of me submitting the request. I told what kind of Escape I was looking for. He said he would verify what vehicles were available. He texted me early Friday the ones that were available on the lot. I talked to him later telling him the one I was interested in. We set a time to meet on Sunday. He had the vehicle ready to look at when I arrived. The purchase and finance processes went smoothly with no hiccups. After receiving VIP certificate I received a phone call from Mark Reiland stating he was Dan Covert's CarProUSA representative. I discussed my situation I was looking for used Escape for brother in law within certain criteria. We discussed a couple of stock numbers and Mark located the vehicle and presented the price and trade which I quickly accepted. Then we found out the car was being driven by another customer and would not be quickly available so I emailed Mark with second vehicle which was an upgraded Escape SEL. Mark and I agreed again on pricing and he secured the vehicle. We drove vehicle and closed on deal and was easiest car purchase I have encountered. Mark was very low key but informative and reactive to my inquiries. Was a pleasure doing business with Covert Ford Hutto and I will be repeat customer. Mark Reiland is an asset to Covert Ford.

Drove Ranger PU---JR had a good review of it. However, simply was not comfortable; cabin was nothing special. So went to see rep who sold me 201CRV at former CP dealer. Leased 2020 Ridgeline (bitchin' black!) for three years. This truck is FANTASTIC! Many features not on Ranger: spacious cabin, solid clunk when doors shut, tons of safety features; even Nitrogen filled tires. Will take me a week to learn it all. Couldn't ask for CP % since they're no longer approved, but since this was second vehicle leased through this salesman, I got numbers I wanted, and I trust him. Other choice at Hutto Ford would have been 2020 F150 (NO SLOUCH!), but I don't need that much truck, and my wife can easily step up intro Ridgeline. Mark DID get the numbers I wanted on the F150, but short-legged Mama don' wanna have to use a ladder. Would go to Hutto Ford again if the occasion arose, but we're now on our fourth Honda in 30 years. MAN, this Ridgeline is FINE.

After having some issues with other dealers we followed your advice and went to Covert. They are the best and I will never buy again from anyone else. They worked hard finding out exactly what truck we needed and we left with smiles on our faces. It is almost a 2 hour drive for us to get there, but promise it is worth every minute. Every person we dealt with at that dealership were perfect. Think that is a Covert way of doing business, have been in Central Texas for years and years and everyone has the same good feelings. Thanks for getting us back to a great dealer.
