Taima was our car pro, very knowledgeable and accommodating. The pricing she offered was higher than other dealers. Then her manager got involved and things went downhill, same old BS about pricing and pressure to buy today. I would not recommend Vandergriff Honda for Car Pro purchase based on our experience. The car pro person, Taima was knowledgeable and easy to deal with.

Followed process and got a phone call almost immediately from the used car manager letting me know Neal Patel would be my salesman. Neal called within minutes and told me where to park and meet him at my appointed time. He did. It was the last Sat of the month and the place was a zoo! I could not believe all the people trying to buy! Being from Granbury, I was shocked at the business. Even with all the business the manager swung by and spent 5 minutes with me, just being friendly. I was disappointed in that the car I bought was listed as a CPO with a price of ~29K, and when Neal brought the paperwork, it included an extra $3K for the CPO "work". Yes, they did the work an are entitled to be paid for it, however, they advertised a price on the web of $29K AND said in the description it was a CPO. My wife calls this bait an switch. What do you call it? I still felt it was a fair price, and bought the car. The rest of the deal went great, and I negotiated a complete extended warranty (beyond the CPO) for half the originally quoted price....he said it was employee pricing, and only because it was the last day of the month....works for me.

While listening to last Saturday’s show I went to the website and entered my desired make and model. Vandergriff Honda was selected, my friend drove me there and I drove away with a 2018 Honda CR-V with only 36k miles!! I spent a lot more than I planned but the deal was too good to walk away! I'll give a "2" as Sales Manager Roger Love ultimately did respond to my 10/15/21 email inquiry, but only after Ken Grupe sent them a follow up. They do not have stock per their website, yet, Yuni's 10/14/21 email, and subsequent letter indicated purchase must be made from stock - by 31 October. Roger Love's 10/21/21 subsequent exchange with me also indicated they did not have stock, but as a CarPro customer, they would honor their offer past 31 October. On 10/22/21, I received another email from Yuni which stated "This opportunity is only available until October 31." My confidence in Vandergriff Honda, and Yuni Chon/staff is quite low. At this point, I am uncomfortable with Vandergriff Honda. Maybe I should have rated them a 1.

As a long time listener and subscriber to your newsletter I expected great service and was not disappointed. I was escorted to the office of John Ellis, and as you well know, he "took the bull by the horns" and away we went. In our email to Vandergriff Honda, we stated which vehicles we were considering and they were upfront and ready for us to test drive. We purchased a Ridgeline after John found one in Oklahoma and hauled it down here. John had Taima explain how all the bells and whistles worked and she did a fantastic job. In July, 2020, my wife and I visited Vandergriff Honda and dealt with the General Sales Manager, Mr. John Ellis. Mr. Ellis and his sales team provided an excellent buying experience and a very competitive drive-out price on a new Honda CRV. Before visiting Vandergriff Honda, we secured an offer from another DFW Honda dealer who does not participate in the CarProUSA program. Compared to the offer from the other Honda dealer, the offer from Vandergriff Honda allowed $2,400 more on our trade-in and charged $3,400 less for the new CRV. Overall, the final drive-out price offered by Vandergriff Honda was $5,800 less than the drive-out price offered by the other DFW Honda dealer. We recommend Vandergriff Honda and the CarProUSA program to anyone looking to purchase a Honda vehicle.

I have brought a number of cars from John while he was GM at Vandergriff Acura. We had developed a business relationship over the years. My son graduated college last May and was ready to buy his first car, (with me as a co-signer). He was interested in a Honda CRV. I showed him the Car Pro website for a preferred dealer and was glad to see Vandergriff Honda on the list, since we live in Arlington. John Ellis called me 1st thing Monday morning as I got my VIP certificate Sunday evening. He was great as we knew which CRV Hybrid Touring we wanted from his inventory. We got a great lease payment with only 1st payment down. I was able to trade in my vehicle as well and we got a $2,000 check in our pockets. Vandergriff did great! I emailed Yuni that I had my Priority Pass and he called me that morning with to Pilots on his lot that fit what I was looking for. We pretty much did the deal on the phone. I went down there the next day and test drove the Pilot. Yuni had all the paperwork ready and pre-populated from the phone call. I was out of there in one hour. I ordered upgrades to my Pilot and they gave me a new Pilot loaner to drive. When my Pilot was ready they delivered it to my office in Bridgeport! Great service from Yuni and Esmeralda. Highly recommend Vandergriff.

I submited referral request to Jerry and quickly heard from Wes Kammer. He lowered price by $700 and asked how soon I could visit. He assigned salesman Hussein to handle me.. I visited that night and negotiated a deal. He had to raise his trade offer by $3250. We arranged for a Thursday pickup. I had already test driven a CRV in my neighborhood and researched too many hours before going to Vandergriff. At the dealership, Taima was my salesperson and was very informative on any questions I had. They worked to find my beautiful red Crv Ex and I picked it up the next day since it was late in the day. I feel like Nate in finance was the most helpful! I've told people before that my car is my happy place and with my new car, it truly is!

My husbands car died on Christmas Eve. We were not really prepared to get a car, so things were stressful. I found some cars on Vandergriff's website and reached out. Yuri was very honest with me about the cars I selected, explaining that some of them were notorious for having problems. He said if there was anyway we could come before the 1st of January, we would get a much better deal. My husband works nights so we headed up on the 31st. On the way up to the dealership our backup car broke down. I called George and explained the situation and that we wouldn't make it. A few minutes later, Yuri called me and offered to come pick us up, I initially said no because my husband had to work that night, and we were more concerned about figuring out a way to get him to work. They offered to give my husband a loanee car until we could get our own car. We declined the offer, and my dad came to pick us up and take my husband to work. Later that day, I called George to see if I could still come in, even though we missed our appointment. They said not a problem at all. When I arrived, George and Yuri greeted me and were extremely helpful in finding is a car that worked for our needs and our budget. I was very firm that I could not go over $400 for a payment. They were amazing and helped me get an even lower payment on a fantastic car. I was extremely stressed about having to pick out a car by myself and do all the paperwork. Vandergriff Honda Made this process INCREDIBLE. No stress at all. Since my husband was at work, they worked with us and let him sign the papers the next day. They gave us an incredible deal and just made an extremely stressful situation easy! Sorry for the long review but I want everyone to know just how awesome this dealership is and how great the people are. I had a bad experience the Monday before at a CarPro dealership and honestly was wondering why the CarPro pass was worth it. But after having my experience with Vandergriff Honda, I get it. It was the least stressful process ever and they don't pull you around and sell you stuff you don't need. BEST DEALERSHIP EVER. When it's time to truck shop I will 100% be going back to see Yuri, George and Vandergriff Honda.

Still takes too long to work deal and finance. Did not talk to Yuni initially, but a floor salesman. Finally when I decided on the car I wanted, I got to see Yuni in his offer. A deal was worked and I think I got a good deal, but it was all done on his computer, and I was unable to see anything. This dealership has and continues to add too many dealer options- some of which cannot be removed. $2000-$3000 per car. I would like to be able to choose my options.
