It was most enjoyable working with a car salesman that put the customer AHEAD of the “corporate pressures” that come into ‘play’ when purchasing a new (and highly sought after) vehicle, such as the GX550. Fred was very accommodating and allowed me to finalize the paperwork based upon my busy schedule, a few days beyond the original closing date. Throughout the entire process, Fred was very honest and candid, answering all my questions to my satisfaction! I drove 40 minutes to work with Fred (passing 2 other Lexus dealerships) and it was most rewarding. Thank you Fred and thank you Jerry Reynolds for outstanding customer service!

I met with Fred Forshey, the CarPro Manager at Lexus Clear Lake, and had an outstanding experience. I set up the appointment, and despite the year end crush of car buyers in the dealership, Fred gave me his complete attention and answered my questions before asking one of his associates to help me with a test drive of the car I had in mind. Not only was the RX350 all I could have hoped it would be from pure driving enjoyment, but the rest of the car buying process proceeded seamlessly and quickly. If I were not in a rental car that day that had to be returned elsewhere, I could have driven out of the dealership that afternoon. I have other Lexus dealerships nearer to my residence, but based on this experience I am planning to take my new car to Clear Lake Lexus for servicing. I would very strongly recommend Fred and this dealership to any CarPro listeners in the Houston area.

I just bought a 2021 Lexus GX 460 luxury from Lexus of Clear Lake. I worked with Fred Forshey, and everything about the experience was absolutely outstanding! Fred was very professional, friendly, responsive, patient, not pressuring, and I could go on and on and on. Ask for giving Fred a rating, if you had a 10 Star rating system with 10 being the best, I would give Fred a 12. Prior to this, I have bought three new Lexus vehicles in the past 15 years, all from another Lexus dealer. They bent over backwards on my behalf. Before I visited the dealer, I submitted my desired car from Lexus. Melissa, the new car salesperson, told me that it would take approximately 4 months to build and deliver the car I wanted. By chance, they had one coming in that had everything I wanted except the Illuminated Trunk Sill. This wasn't a deal breaker for me, so instead of waiting 4 months, I only had to wait one week. They gave me a great CarPro show deal\price. The finance manager, Crystle, was a great help. This was a cash sale, and she arranged a great deal on the extended warranty. We were finished in about 15 minutes. The total time at the dealership was approximately an hour and a half. This was the best experience I've ever had buying a new car! Everyone was so kind and willing to assist in any way. I can't express enough gratitude and detail to adequately thank everyone for everything that was done for me. I will highly recommend Lexus of Clear Lake!!!

I was happy to report last week that we had a great experience at Lexus of Clear Lake with Peter Miko and Mr. Brown in Finance. I heard my comments summarized last Sat. on the Car-Pro Show. A comment was added that we were "in and out of there in two hours", but it actually took four hours, mainly because Mr. Miko took extra time to explain the car's features. Completely satisfied with the 2018 CPO RX350 - great car! Thanks again for insisting that we "follow the process".

My wife and I were ready to trade her 2017 Acura MDX for the latest RX350. We owned a certified RX330 about 10 years ago and my wife was always comparing her last two SUV's to that RX. Once I personally got past the grill - the styling has improved in my mind - I really loved driving the vehicle. Our salesman, Fred Forshey, was very good. He listened well, showed us exactly what our choices were on the lot, and basically treated us as if we were the only customers at the store. We got the no haggle pricing on the vehicle we chose, which was good. The only negotiating we did related to our trade in. I had obtained a CARMAX appraisal the day before, so I knew what I wanted to get for my trade. They agreed to give us $500 more to close the deal. Fred did not rush us at all which also made the buying experience better. We'll continue to use the CARPRO for our future purchases.

Fred Forshey is a very knowledgeable and personable salesman. I would work with him again any time. As for the dealership, I am not sure if I can do business with them again. I traded in 2 vehicles and regret feeling like I gave away 2 very good cars. One was even the ol’ bait and switch. Fred said he had to fight to keep the trade-in value at 24k on a 2019 Avalon in excellent condition w/44k miles. It is now listed for $30,995 on their website. Three internet searches beforehand averaged $28,638 for a trade-in value. A 2014 Lexus 250IC hard top convertible averaged $25,803 for trade-in with 44k miles( very low mileage).I was offered $21k by the dealership 3 weeks before I came in. After we had come to a deal on the ES350 we drove 1 1/2 hours home to get the IS 250 and drove 1 1/2 hours back to the dealership. The guy in the back then dropped the offer to $19.5k. Basically getting back the amount he took off the MSRP. The ol’ bait and switch. Fred had no control over this. The IS is now listed for $26,995 on their website. I should have walked when he came back with that 19.5k offer. My wife had been wanting that picture with a bow on the car for the December to Remember promotion. The promotion worked. I just don't think I can trust that dealership again. Fred even said they told him that trade-ins drop 5% per month. That one is hard to believe.

My wife was looking for a new car about a year ago when we contacted Fred about the new not yet released NX. We have very particular wants and we told Fred exactly what we wanted. He told us it would be a long time, but we were willing to wait. While we were waiting for the NX to arrive we saw the new RX and we had a feeling that that was the car we really wanted. When the NX arrived we talked with Fred and decided to pass on the car that we had just waited over 6 months for and we were going to hold out for the RX. Of course again we had very specific options that we wanted and not just any RX but the RX 500 H F Sport Performance. All through the process Fred kept in touch and let us know that we would eventually get our unicorn. Finally about 2 weeks ago our all Black RX 500 H F Sport arrived and we couldn’t be happier. Fred was a pleasure to work with and made the process easy, even though it took almost a year.

Peter Miko, the pre-own Car Pro USA dealer at Clear Lake Lexus, Houston, TX saw me despite not having an appointment, which I'd tried to set up early in the morning but he was with another customer unable to call me back. I did show up during the afternoon just to see availability of Pre Owned/Leased RX 350s and was able to meet with Peter. He thoroughly researched certified pre owned cars on lot explaining that a Car Pro pre own purchase automatically got $500 off of dealership's lowest price. There was only one RX 350 that met my criteria. We test drove it and Peter explained/showed features. I committed to return at 1pm following day to do paperwork and purchase car. I also bought a pre owned extended warranty as I had not for my ES 350 trade in and had regretted not doing so. I drove home at 4 pm in my new pre-owned RX 350. The total time involved was 5 hours start to finish. Peter Miko is a good guy, very knowledgeable about the Lexus RX350 I bought and the process of purchasing it. He asked the right questions and could answer any question I posed, Peter behaved friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating, kind and professional. I know I can see him again should I need help regarding my RX 350 as I am still learning how to operate some of it's features. I would recommend Peter to anyone interested in buying a pre-owned Lexus in Houston, TX. And Fred, the Car Pro USA new Lexus dealer, was also kind and friendly. As was Peter Brown, the accountant I dealt with, a knowledgeable, friendly and helpful guy. There was no hard sell, no arguments from anyone . The experience was pleasant.

I only was interested in looking. However, he gave me a quote and made a mistake. Scared me away. They used a large interest rate instead of asking me what I would qualify for. Plus, they added a paint spray for $1000+ that the San Antonio dealer didn’t. So between the high interest rate and the spray paint extra coating, I did not pursue that CarPro dealer. He was very nice and prompt. If I lived closer, 230 miles away, I may have been more proactive. I did buy a new Lexus for my wife in December. Low interest rate which I read on the CarPro Friday email, and they did not add $1000 to spray a preservative coating. Lexus dealer in San Antonio

I talked with you a week ago and was asking for something sporty for a guy 6'3" tall. I said I loved the Lexus LC500 but didn't like the price. You suggested possibly the Nissan Z or contact Fred Forshey at Lexus of Clear Lake to see if he might find a LC500 CPO. My wife and I set up an appointment for Friday afternoon to look at a CPO LC500. Once we looked at the vehicle, I realized it was a bit too large for what I wanted. We had an appointment with Peter Miko @ 10:00 AM on 10/30/21 for a low mileage RX450H. Peter told us that a low mileage vehicle would be almost the same price as the 2022 RX450H. So we told Peter that we would like to look at a 2022 model. He took us over to Fred Forshey and he showed us a 2022 model RX450H that he had in stock. We have never sat in a Lexus before and it was wonderful to say the least. When we left home for the meeting, we did not plan on making any decision on a purchase of a vehicle, we were just window shopping. Fred let us do a test drive in new 2022 RH450H and he went along to explain the features that were on this vehicle. It had the luxury package, panorama moonroof, navigation system, 15 speaker Mark Levinson system, color head up display, cold weather package, panoramic view monitor w/ intuitive parking assist, and tons more accessories - it was unbelievable. However it was the new paint that Lexus came out with that my wife fell in love with - a green with metal flakes in it. Fred did not push us he just let us think it over and he starting to help other customers, which was great. We sold ourselves on the car. Fred knew after showing us all the options and letting us test drive the car, we were hooked. We gave Fred Forshey a 5 star rating only because there was no 12 star rating available. Working with Fred was like working with a loving father, he helped us to get a fabulous price on the RX450H and an unbelievable trade in on my 2006 Ridgeline that had over 294,400 miles.

There were no cheesy sales lines or back and forth on pricing. Corey Carter in finance was also helpful with any question I had about add on protections with our lease and didn't try and push anything on us. With any luck my wife might eventually let me drive her new RX350. It's a fantastic vehicle.
