From the texting with Mike to the spending time test driving with Marissa (and her beautiful bulldog Rylee) the process was amazing. Marissa walked us through test drives on three models to make sure we made the right decision, and then helped us decide on the best trim level which saved us over $3,000. Everything totally transparent and low key. My wife and I have a new Crosstrek coming in the next few weeks. This is the first time we have ever paid full MSRP for a car, but in this market we realize what a deal that really is. The dealership was packed with people standing in line to pay over sticker, thanks to CarPro we didn't have to work at all. To drive home, an hour away, without any stress or anxiety felt throughout the entire process was a real blessing.

Large Subaru dealer with lots of cars, Needs more than one bathroom, people waiting for an employee to get out of bathroom, The sales office didn't seem to know about the shortage of used cars the prices were going up, over 12% on news show. They offered me $4000 off KBB price and finally came up to $1000 less than price on KBB. Then they couldn't get the correct taxes for my county on their computer. They finally agreed to only charge me .0015 over my County tax rate. It was getting late and I just wanted to get something to eat so I signed it. My wife thinks I should of walked out and sold our 2017 Subaru myself.

We were not buying right away but he gave us the attention like we were buying "today". <br>Then after a week or so our trade in had a light go on and we decided that it was time for us to make a purchase. Called Mike let him know that and asked about options that met our needs. It was his day off but he gave us some good options and offered to set us up with another salesperson. We waited the extra day just to be able to work with Mike. When we get there we see a crosstrek in our color and price range. We did not buy it. We asked Mike what features he would have on a new car and he told us about what he leased for his daughters and the features those cars had. No pressure just conversation. We ended up getting those features and spending more than we thought we would. Could not be happier. The peace of mind that the eyesight and the other safety items is well worth a bit of extra cash. <br>The whole process took 2 hours and 20 minutes and I was on my way home. Drove 1 1/2 hours to get there even though we have a Subaru dealer 5 miles away. They were not as receptive as Mike. <br>Elk Grove Subaru is a great place to buy a car.

I was up front about our chances of buying while we were there and it DIDN'T make a bit of difference. We were treated wit respect and there was no pressure to buy today.. Mike answered all our questions and let us test drive the models we were interested in. As Mike new before we went to see him that we were not likely to buy until we could figure out the direction of our economy and where would be the best place to pull money from. I am 70 and we don't want any payments per month even at 0 percent. My wife was very skeptical about car salesmen even though I tried to tell her your dealers were different. Our current car is13 years old with 175K miles but is till in good shape. The impression Mike made was tremendous. We will be buying a new car maybe this year and when we do it will be from Mike even though it is 75 mile drive. Joe did not respond to my emails. Eventually I met him in person and he apologized. There had been an email reconfiguration causing the delay. Honestly using Carpro was not a huge help. Still had to spend almost 4 hours at the dealership and haggle for a price that worked for me.

I was actually helping my step daughter, Erin Brady, find a car. I went through the CarPro website and contacted Elk Grove Subaru by email from the site. Mike Carlson He contacted me shortly after via test, my requested contact choice. We texted back and forth a few time, then talked via phone. I told him I was helping Erin find a car and Subaru was one of the brands she was interested in, but not sure of the model. We set up a date and time to meet at the dealership. When we arrived at the dealership, Mike greeted us like old friends and introduced us to his "number one CarPro salesperson" Marissa Anderson. Marissa was GREAT! She had a handful of keys, and three models idling in the parking lot with the A/C on since it was a hot day. Erin drove the Outback, Forester, and Crosstek. Marrissa was VERY knowledgeable and gave Erin a lot of information about each one. Erin landed on the Forester, it was the right size and she liked the way it drove. I rode with her in the Forester and was impressed with it also. She picked a new 2023, top of the line, and then we started looking at price. Marissa and Mike came up with a price that was very good, and Erin wanted it but wanted to think about it overnight, and she needed to transfer funds since it was a cash sale. Mike came back out and tried to close it, this was Saturday, but Erin did not want to make the decision there. There was no pressure on the close, he was just trying to finalize the deal. Understandable since he was off Sunday. After some research and contacting her cousin, connected to a Subaru dealership in Texas, and a friend in Southern California that has connections, the price was very good. They both said "buy it." I was out of town on Sunday, but they got a call from Mike and went up to Elk Grove and finalized the deal. Planning to transfer funds on Monday and take possession. Monday was Columbus Day and the banks were closed so they arranged a meeting on Tuesday. Mike and Marrisa delivered the car to Lodi on Tuesday after Erin got funds arranged. Mike and Marissa were both great and made the experience painless and simple. I can't say enough good things about them. I would recommend the CarPro way and Elk Grove Subaru to anybody looking for a Subaru. The only hiccup in the process was Erin found the exact car in an online ad at the same price as she was quoted as the "special CarPro price." She brought this to Mike's attention and they dropped the price another $2000 with no issues.. Made everybody happy. Sorry it took me so long to respond, life happened during October and wouldn't stop. The only other experience I have had with CarPro dealers was when my neighbor was trying to get a Maverick. He had already waited a year for another dealer. I got him involved with Elk Grove Ford and they took care of him. Still took ANOTHER year to get his truck, but it was just what he wanted and they kept in contact with him all along the way. So, no, I have not worked with a CarPro before, but did recommend it.

Wow what a pleasant way to get a new car! Many thanks to Mike Carlson for being right there at the beginning to help me through the process. Of course he is very knowledgable about the model I wanted, but he also patiently answered my many and varied questions. To top it off Mike's clear and straight forward approach mixed with his honest easygoing manner actually made it fun!! My only regret is that Subaru did not magically have "my car" in the lot so Mike sent my order in. He's been keeping me up on it's progress. The nice part is I'll get to work with Mike again while I wait😁

Jerry and Kevin, we live in the far Northern California, Redding about 3 hours from Elk Grove Subaru. This was a 2021 Crosstrek that I cosigned for my sons first car purchase. Mike Carlton and Mike Lagandaon were awesome. It was Red Carpet, Mr. Carlson met us at the door. They explained everything on the paperwork. My son enjoyed his test drive before the paperwork. Mike Carlson is Elk Grove Subaru's Internet Sales Manager, and he and his associates are an exceptional team to work with. I contacted him with an email, and he got back to me immediately with a great quote and lined up a meeting with me for the next morning. I presented my VIP Priority Pass when we met, got NO pressure and lots of valuable suggestions, and ended up driving off with a new 2020 Forester Limited at a great discount and with 0% financing. Called and made an appointment to meet with the salesman-CJ and took the Ascent Limited out for a test drive then came back to the office. It took 2.5 hrs to obtain a trade-in value for our vehicle even though I presented them with a KBB offer(because it was dated 1/29/19, 2 weeks old). Then met with the internet salesman-Mike who was more interested in telling us his life history and making rude comments about the salesman-CJ. We were told when we asked if we could go to lunch and talk about the purchase and Mike informed us that "once we leave the sales lot that the offer is null and void. My husband and I went out to our vehicle and talked about it and went back to inform the salesman that we decided to look around a little more. Mike became very irritated and then said if "we change our minds that the offer is good for 72 hours". We had driven 2 hours to Elk Grove and were told over the phone that they had a variety of Ascent Limited inventory. They had one! Not a good first time experience with using the CarProUSA priority pass. Then over the past 3 days post leaving the dealership, we have received at least 4 calls from the salesman stating that if we changed our minds "they could probably sharpen their pencil".<br><br>

I received an email from Mike Carlson, Internet Sales Manager of Elk Grove Subaru (EGS), shortly after downloading the VIP pass for EGS from the Car Pro Show (CPS) website. Mike was aware of my VIP pass through the CPS-VIP process and was there to help me with my interest in any Subaru model availability. I replied with my specific interest in a new 2021 Outback Limited in the Cinnamon Brown Pearl color. He advised that there was just one left of that color in their stock under the current market shortage circumstances and that they were still able to extend the Car Pro Show discount and terms to VIP customers in spite of the current market conditions. We scheduled a test drive and I leased the car shortly thereafter. Mike Carlson and everyone at EGS are very knowledgeable and professional. Mike Carlson and others at Elk Grove Subaru were knowledgeable, competent and prompt handling our lease return. You ask for better. But wait, there is more. My husband has always been the one to handle car purchases and financing but his current medical needs required that I take the lead. I found Mike to be particularly clear-spoken as he answered my many questions. So, I gladly add clear-spoken, patient, kind, and compassionate to describe my experience with Mike Carlson. Over the years we also dealt with their service department and others answering phones and fielding questions and found everyone very helpful and quick to respond. I heard Jerry Reynolds review Subaru about year and half ago I was very interested in what was said about Drivers Assist safety system.( which is better than great) I decided after listening to the review if I ever bought a new car it would be a Subaru.. The vehicle I had been driving broke down for good and I decided to lease a new vehicle from Elk Grove Subaru. I went to this dealer as a family friend works there..I haven't bought a new vehicle for myself ever, my 1st new car! <br><br>Vishal Sandstrom is a family friend, I was treated very well by all of the staff I dealt with. I advised them of my budget, what I could afford as a down payment and monthly lease payments, and I thought to my self, " they will never make this deal" They did!<br>I leased a 2020 Outback for less than I proposed, again there was no stress or pressure on the purchase of the vehicle and every thing went smoothly and well.<br>I really like my new vehicle and especially the treatment I received from every one at Elk Grove Subaru.<br>

Very impressed with Mike's low pressure willing to wait attitude.<br>If I'm asked I would not only recommend Car Pro but if they are looking for a Subaru in the Sacramento area, definitely would recomend Elk Grove Subatu and Mike Carlson.

My buying experience with Mike Carlson at Elk Grove Subaru was outstanding. I have bought many vehicles in my 51 years of driving and by far this was the easiest and most professional buying transaction of them all. From test drive to driving home in my new vehicle was about 90 minutes which included time to detail the vehicle. <br><br>I had sent out emails to 6 dealerships asking for pricing on a Subaru Ascent. I received 4 responses. Mike Carlson at Elk Grove Subaru responded in a very timely manner with the out the door lowest quote. I asked Mike about prices on different trims and he responded promptly and accurately to all my questions. <br><br>During my visit to the dealership to sign paperwork there were no surprises with the paperwork or vehicle. There was absolutely no pressure to buy any the usual dealer addons/accessories, ect. from Mike or the F&I manager. That we ended up putting purchasing a vehicle on hold had absolutely nothing to do with Pam and Elk Grove Subaru. I visited them as an information-gathering exercise as we tried to decide what to do for our daughter as she goes off to college. Pam was excellent. She was totally straight-forward, patient, and professional. She detailed potential options for me, always considerate of our parameters, which were very restrictive. She showed me the vehicle invoices and we had a very frank but respectful discussion. She has also followed up with me in a completely professional and appropriate manner. Overall, I was so impressed that, since making our decision not to purchase a car for our daughter, I find myself looking forward to purchasing my next vehicle from Elk Grove Subaru. Well done.
