I never actually met the person that was supposed to be my person as a pro car. The lady, the young lady that helped me told me I might have to lie. I don’t think I got the right pricing. The guy in finance never returned. my calls, called several times left two messages. I feel like he misled me as well not happy with the process.

I was instructed to contact Adam Soto, unfortunately, I tried contacting Mr Soto several times, but he never seemed to be available. My Salesman, Joel Zamora was courtesy and answered all my question and showed me several cars that would meet what I wanted. But the Financial Officer Luis Gomez was okay as far as explaining the added options, of which I was not interested in. When he realized I was not going to purchase any of the extended warranties, he didn't speak to me. When leaving his office, he said to Joel Zamora, "GET THIS GUY OUT OF HERE" in a very disrespectful tone of voice. I ask Joel did I hear correctly and he said yes. I thought, don't say anything to Mr Gomez, but I did notify Adam Soto's assistance of what Mr Gomez said. I think you need to retrain Mr Gomez on how to show and respect your customers. Someone named Sawyer called. He said that they were adding $2,995 addendums to all vehicles. I explained that I was trying to help a friend who had been diagnosed with cancer. He offered to give her a quote on her trade-in if she would send pictures of her Tundra. She sent those 10 days ago and we have heard nothing.

Today’s new car buying experience has become a Seller’s Market leaving the consumer to often accept limited selection, high markups and cavalier attitudes. Moreover, a new car purchase is no longer simply completing an online configurator and ordering a desired vehicle tailored to the consumer’s desires at a price at or less than MSRP. It has become a protracted planning process of reserving some future arrival that often is not even fully defined by the manufacturer. Such is the case of ordering the next generation Toyota Sequoia. Here, step number one is finding a cooperative dealership willing to “Put You on the List” for an SUV of indeterminant availability, with yet-to-be disclosed options and at a TBD MSRP. And hopefully when finding a dealer your position on the alleged wait list is not #128! Here is where Car Pro USA has come to the rescue by providing a Car Pro VIP introduction to Universal Toyota of San Antonio, Texas and point-of-contact “California Mike”. Upon our first phone conversation, Mike listened intently to our vehicle needs and left us confident in Universal’s ability to provide the specific 2023 Toyota Sequoia we desired. Moreover, attributed to Car Pro’s priority we are now Number One on the wait list ensuring immediate availability once the dealership receives its allocation. Recognizing that this will be a lengthy wait with our not receiving the vehicle for another 6 to 9 months, we will report back later at the time of purchase. All said, we are pleased with a great start and confident in smoothly concluding our purchase as planned. Again, all is attributed to Car Pro USA and its supportive dealerships such as Universal.

Everyone very cordial and wanting to sell us a vehicle. I feel the offers for our trade in was way off. 2014 Avalon in fantastic condition 3.6 with 106,000 miles. Maximum offer 10k. Not happy with this number.

I listento the CarPro Show most weekends, so I set my sights on a Toyota to replace my large & aging SUV. When I walked into Universal Toyota, I was greeted promptly and GM Soto's CarPro VIP team rolled into action. There were two vehicles staged for a test drive and an outline of what other preparations were made for my visit. Travis and his mentor (senior moment on his name) made sure they knew exactly what I wanted and then went to heroic lengths to work towards that goal. Long story short: I came, I drove, I pondered, I set my expectations and they were all exceeded!! I got a fantastic deal on a 2024 Toyota Venza. It was the best car buying experience I have ever had, bar none. CarPro VIP is the only way to buy.

His manager {Cuban/Mexican) (memory left years ago) was extremely courteous and knowledgeable and they treated my wife courteously which I admire and expect since this was her car. Took my mom that wanted a SUV we got the RAV4 hybrid the price was not great no carpro experience like before no water or coffee offer back the purchase experience the deal was not good and since 12/26/23 date of purchase the tinting that she paid for has not been put on since they kept giving my mom the run around about getting a appointment to get it installed I had to go in and speak to a manager to get a appointment so hopefully next week it will get done. And if they say I didn't purchase a vehicle my mom purchased it I just set it up for her through car pro this is the 4th vehicle we purchased using car pro

Sent Mr. Soto a message with contact info and he has a California Mike call me. My wife and I were on our way to the dealership to discuss the purchase of a H/Rav4. When we arrived Calif. Mike was gone and Mr. Soto did not come out to talk to us at all. We were greeted by a Mr. Ayala in the parking lot and he phoned both of the other gentlemen and was told by phone from them to take care of us. This is nothing like what I hear on the show I listen to each Saturday. I built this up to my wife as to what to expect and boy was I lectured to when we left. Jerry I have bought three new vehicles in the last four years and still have all of them. I shopped on my own and I feel we were better treated then what Universal Toyota and the Car Pro rep. treated us, We wanted to order a car put it wont happen at that dealership and I won't have anything positive to say about them as well. I will reach out to your San Marcos dealer and see if they "OFFER" the Car Pro experience I hear so much about. Thanks for listening Barry

Unfortunately the CarProUSA staff had to get involved after our initial reaching out to Adam Soto and Universal Toyota since we never heard back from them. We were eventually contacted by Sawyer Dillion and are very happy with his knowledge and his assistance up to this point. We are currently working with him to find what we are looking for.

This will be called Part 1 of 2 Review. We spoke with a Mike at Universal Toyota several times and set up a meeting on Thursday 12/23 at 9 am. When we got there Nathan Whitfield met us outside and took us into the dealership where he went to find Mike. He came back and told us Mike had a sick child and asked if he could help us, and we said yes. Nate went through everything including the issues with options and deliveries. Once he received a list of options and had to's, he went to work and was able to find one at another dealer and set up a trade to get the 4 runner my family member wanted. Hopefully it comes in the first week of January as promised and I can write the second part of this review. This is my fifth auto purchase using the Car Pro Advantage for either myself or a family member. It has always worked to perfection every time.

I never spoke to anyone. All I got was 1 email with an offer on a Tundra that I had found on the internet. The dealer never looked at my trade in. He never gave me other options. Nothing. I was never called. I was never invited to the dealership. Nothing.

I really liked my CarPro sales person, California Mike. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He provided me with a lot of good information that I needed to make my decision. I was not happy with the finance department, however. I told them several times that I did not want to purchase anything but the long-term warranty, but they kept pushing the maintenance packages. Also, it took the finance department more than a week to provide me with the financial documents that I signed to purchase my car. They provided me a pin drive after signing the paperwork however, the pin drive did not include what I really needed, the financial documents that I signed.

I test drove a 2022 Toyota Camry hybrid on Thursday. I liked it but I was press for time. I told them I would be back Tuesday if the car was still available. So, Friday evening I text the sales rep to see if the car had been sold. He said yes. So, I looked online for something else. Low and behold it was still available. The internet price said 35K+. I thought that was a deal. When I arrive there. The new price was well over 38K. Man was I disappointed. I pray I never have to deal with them anymore.

Part 2 of the review The first part of meeting and ordering was number 1. Picking up the 4 Runner for my Wife's cousin was also a #1. Nathan Whitfield was awesome all the way through. Definitely recommend anyone to Universal Toyota. And thank you Jerry for having them as a Car Pro Dealership.
