April 26, 2024
Dear CarPro Family,
Well, we find ourselves coming right up on the end of the month of April. The moon and the stars are lined up for you to get yourself a terrific deal on that dream vehicle you’ve been thinking of. I give you more details below on this topic and reasons why the time is right!
Also today, I have the top 25 best-sellers last month by model, including trucks, cars, and of course SUVs. Also, a list of the top 10 most expensive cars sold at Mecum Houston a few weeks ago, and another list of the SUVs that have the most cargo area in case that is a big consideration for you.
We are giving away a beautiful 2024 Chevy Corvette and $10,000 in cash to pay tax, title, and license to some lucky listener! Best of all, this wonderful charity helps our Veterans find healing and a sense of gratitude and community, which they so deserve. Details are below on how to buy chances to win for just $10.
I find it kind of sad that General Motors is moving its downtown Detroit headquarters and I have all the info and some thoughts for you below. Vehicle prices fell again last month, some good news there! Take a look at the 60th Anniversary very Limited Edition Mustang below, and if you want one, reach out to a CarPro Dealer quickly, these won’t last long. I have details for you on the 2025 Kia K5 that starts under $26,000 and let me tell you, it’s a beauty! The 2025 Camry comes only as a hybrid AND with a lower price! The UAW has finally broken through to workers in one of the many auto plants in the South. Chattanooga VW workers vote to join, details below.
In my review this week, I have one of my favorites, the 2024 Subaru CrossTrek Wilderness SUV. Our Amy Plemons is on assignment at a Texas Auto Writers Association event, but her excellent reviews will commence again next week, not to worry.
In advice today, I talk about understanding pre-paid leases, something I have done myself 3 times in the more recent past.
We have another True Story from a Former Car Dealer below. This is a series of 40 stories written by me. Some are really funny, some are incredibly sad. I really peel back the curtain on my career highs and lows in the car business, and also share a lot of personal information. I hope you’ll take a minute and read these each week, I truly believe you’ll enjoy them. #17 is titled: The Sign. I had to really put my thinking cap on to figure out how to erect a huge programmable sign at the dealership where I was the General Manager, while making Ford Motor Company AND the City of Dallas happy, and it was no easy feat.
You’ll find the following stories and more info as you scroll down the newsletter:
Plus, lots of other information you will enjoy! If you have never been to our FAQ page, take a minute and peruse the categories, something there will interest you for sure.
We so appreciate all of you who take this newsletter and listen to the show every week. We know that without you, there is no CarPro Radio Show. So always let us know when we can help you. If you have not been there lately, take a look at our website, www.carpro.com, it changes all the time!
Have a terrific week. See you on the radio!
