The New York International Auto Show is underway through April 16th after kicking off last week. The show brings a number of debuts, reveals along with this year's 2023 World Car of the Year Winners. Here are some of the highlights:
Ram Unveils All-electric 2025 Ram 1500 REV

The first-ever RAM all-electric 1500 made its world debut at the show. It will offer two all-electric options, including a standard 168-kilowatt-hour (kWh) battery pack with a targeted range of up to 350 miles and an optional 229-kWh large battery pack with a targeted range of up to 500 miles. Other targeted performance figures include a 0-60 mph time of 4.4 seconds, 654 horsepower and 620 lb.-ft. of torque, up to 24 inches of water fording, up to 14,000 pounds towing and a maximum payload capacity of 2,700 pounds.
Genesis Introduces GV80 Coupe Concept

Genesis is showing off its new GV80 SUV coupe concept. Designed to combine an SUV and a sports car, the automaker says the four-passenger GV80 Coupe Concept adds a new facet to the Genesis brand and hints at a more performance-oriented model.
Hyundai Debuts IONIQ 5 Disney100 Platinum Concept

Hyundai is teaming up with Walt Disney Imagineering for the first time, unveiling the IONIQ 5 Disney100 Platinum Concept in honor of Disney's 100th anniversary. It features 100th anniversary branding, Gravity Gold matte exterior paint, lamp screens with Disney sparkle animations, moon roof etching, Disney-themed intro on the interior screen with music and animations, and a synchronized light show with changing color modes.
Lucid Air Wins 2023 World Luxury Car of the Year

The 2023 World Car Awards were handed out at the show. Lucid Air lost the Electric Car of The Year award to the Ioniq 6, which you can read about here, but it took home the trophy for World Luxury Car of the Year. The Lucid Air is the longest-range, fastest-charging electric car of the market. For more on all the World Car Winners, click here.

2024 Ford Mustang Dark Horse

While not making its debut, we have to think the new 500-horsepower Coyote V8-equipped 2024 Ford Mustang Dark Horse is making quite a stir, just look at it!
Subaru Debuts All-New 2024 Crosstrek Wilderness

Subaru took the opportunity to introduce the all-new 2024 Crosstrek, its most rugged, trail-capable Crosstrek ever. Features include Subaru's Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive with a revised drivetrain, standard X-MODE, elevated 9.3-inch ground clearance and exclusive body cladding. It's standard 2.5-liter engine has an improved 3,500 pound towing capacity. The new Crosstrek Wilderness starts from $31,995.
Chrysler Partners With Autism Society of America

The show also brought an announcement from Chrysler. Coinciding with April’s Autism Acceptance Month, the automaker announced a new partnership with the Autism Society of America and will offer a new "Calm Cabin Package" designed to help those with autism feel calm, safe and comfortable. It will be available in late Spring.

Chrysler says through its new partnership it will work to make travel more comfortable for all through thoughtful design, support accommodations, educational resources and local community engagement. The Chrysler brand will also provide a courtesy one-year loan of three 2023 Chrysler Pacifica Pinnacle vehicles for use by the Autism Society.
Hyundai Unveils All-New Kona

The all-new Hyundai Kona EV, Limited and N Line models are making their North American debut at the show. The long-range Kona EV has an estimated range of 260 miles. N Line and Limited trims offer a 1.6-liter 4-cylinder direct-injected, turbocharged engine generating an estimated 190 horsepower. Most of the lineup arrives the summer, the EV in late Fall.
Guests Create Their Picture-Perfect Lexus

The show isn't all about debuts. Guests can get creative, too, at Lexus' Artificial Intelligence display. It allows auto show-goers to create their picture-perfect LX or RZ. They can generate images that appear on a 98-inch screen then guests can email the images to themselves.
